Claremore Sequoyah Volleyball Preview – Presented by Route 66 Cars & Trucks

If having experience on the court translates into better performances, then new head coach Zoe Kersey holds all the cards coming into the new season. The team fields a ton of experience and coach Kersey said they are bringing a new attitude as well.

“Nearly all returning players with a new coach and a new attitude,” said Kersey.

One of the leaders this season is Lena Warembourg, a player the Eagles faithful are familiar with on the court.

“Lena is our team leader. She pushes her teammates to be better players and will do whatever it takes to win,” said coach Kersey.

Another player who makes big plays and does whatever it takes to help her team succeed is Jayden White.

“Jayden is a powerful athlete. She always finds a way to swing, and her teammates trust her to put the ball away,” said coach Kersey.

Other players to watch coming into the season are Ady Johnson, Haylea Benedict, Lydia Parkey, and Emma Victory.
