Grand Lake Area Editor’s Choice Football – Presented by Grove Dental Associates

QB Carson Trimble – 6-1, 185, Sr. Grove

A gunslinger’s arm, Trimble threw for more than 2,100 yards and 22 TDs last year and he is a threat on the ground.

RB Emmanuel Crawford – 6-0, 180, Sr. Grove

Carried the load last season for the Ridgerunners with 255 carries while scoring 38 TDs.

WR Hagen Hacker – 6-2, 175, Sr. Grove

A very productive receiver, Hacker showed he can be that go-to guy in the passing game and counted on for big plays that move chains.

OL Brandon Cochran – 6-3, 310, Sr. Commerce

Cochran is everything you want in an offensive lineman. His leadership up front will be huge for Commerce this season.

DL Jalen Riggs – 6-2, 285, Sr. Fairland

It usually takes two to stop Riggs from playing on the other side of the line of scrimmage. Expect big things from the big man this season.

LB Ransom Williams – 5-11, 185, Sr. Vinita

Williams is a machine at linebacker. Last year he grabbed 114 tackles and seemed to be in on every play.

DB Brady Lofland – 6-0, 170, Jr. Wyandotte

A versatile player and a two-way starter, Lofland is an excellent cover corner and will start at quarterback on offense.
