Inola Longhorns Boys Basketball Preview – Presented by Keith Wagoner Shelter Insurance

BOYS

Coach: Clyde Barkley

21-22 Record: 13-11

Head coach Clyde Barkley is looking forward to another solid season of Longhorn basketball.

With a good mix of upperclassman leadership and experience to accompany some younger talent, the Longhorns are looking like a team that will be a tough out this season.

Keaton Miller (6-1, Sr.) is a combo guard who can run the offense and shoot the rock. Miller brings leadership and consistency to the floor for coach Barkley.

Jackson Welch (6-6, Jr.) is a nightmare to defend and a mismatch with most of the backcourt players he will face. Welch can play shooting guard or small forward.

Caden Thomas (6-1, Sr.) and Seth Manner (6-0, Sr.) are two seniors expected to have solid seasons for the Longhorns.

Freshman Aidan Clark (6-5) is an exciting player that the Longhorns will use in multiple ways. Clark will likely play forward.

Logan Hayes (6-3, Sr.), and Nathan Troyer (6-0, Sr.) add to the depth coming off the bench.

Also look for Trevor Groff (6-3, Jr.), Jaxon Marlin (5-10, Jr.), Kaiden Riggs (5-10, Jr.), Jarrett Catron (6-2, Jr.), Grayson Cosper (6-0, Jr.), and Kyle Meighew (Jr.) to contribute.

Underclassmen to watch include Caden Thompson (Fr.), Brock Flagiran (So.), Travis Weast (Fr.), Caleb Helling (Fr.), Connor Pratt (So.), Bryce Spurlock (So.), Joseph Estes (So.), and Houston Pannell (So.).
