Chloe Robbins is versatile in a lot of ways at Bartlesville High School.

She’s been a standout on the softball field, but has also excelled in the classroom.

“Chloe is a tremendous player on the field, but she also does everything needed off the field and in the classroom,” Bartlesville head coach Kyle Minton said. “She is a great role model for other students, is involved in several activities, and always a good teammate towards others.”

On the field, the junior outfielder posted a .446 batting average while scoring 31 runs as a sophomore. But it’s her baserunning that sets her apart after stealing 32 bases in 2022.

“This season I’m looking forward to seeing my progress offensively the most, specifically ball placement when I’m slapping. I am also looking forward to baserunning because this year I believe I have a chance at having the most stolen bases in Oklahoma since I’ve been close my freshman and sophomore seasons,” Robbins said.

“Some personal and team goals I have are to help maintain a positive attitude on and off the field within the team to keep a fun environment. I also would like to have a batting average in the .400s and have 30-plus stolen bases.”

Robbins feels she has improved the most on the mental aspects.

“I feel most improved mentally, as a lot of nerves have calmed down and I am a lot more confident and relaxed going into this season than last season,” she said. “Although, I do also feel I improved in infield positions since recently I have been playing infield rather than outfield.”

Away from the field, Robbins has attended the International Science and Engineering Fair, won state at Health Occupations Students of America, attended HOSA internationals, won state for the Stockholm Junior Water Prize where she has also attended nationals. She’s also involved in clubs such as National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society.

Her mom has been her biggest influence.

“She is always encouraging me to be better and always supporting and motivating me no matter what,” said Robbins, who plans on attending college and playing softball while majoring in microbiology. She then hopes to go on to a graduate program to be an anesthesiologist.
