9 Questions with Bartlesville Softball Player Lola Reddington – Presented by First Presbyterian Church Bartlesville

Lola Reddington

Bartlesville High School

VYPE: Lola, what grade are you in and how long have you played softball?

Reddington: I am in 9th grade, and I’ve played softball for about seven years.

VYPE: What do you enjoy most about being on the softball team at BHS?

Reddington: I enjoy spending all the time with my teammates.

VYPE: How is the team looking this season?

Reddington: The team is looking pretty strong for this slow pitch season. We have our ups and downs, but I think it looks like we have a pretty good chance of making it far.

VYPE: What makes this group special to you?

Reddington: I love that I can talk to my teammates without having issues.

VYPE: Who has impressed you the most this year?

Reddington: Isabell Daniels impresses me the most. She’s a role model to me not only on the field but off the field, she always knows how to make me laugh.

VYPE: What makes being a student-athlete great at Bartlesville?

Reddington: It’s special because I never knew the type of bonds I would have over the seasons, so the type of friendships I have made over this year have made it special.

VYPE: What would you like to do after high school?
Reddington: I’m not entirely sure what I want to do but I would like to become something in the medical field.

VYPE: What do you enjoy doing when you’re not on the field?
Reddington: I like to spend time with my family and my friends, or just go out to a field and play catch with my dad.

VYPE: What’s your favorite memory so far as an athlete at BHS?
Reddington: My favorite memory as a BHS student-athlete is when we were at Union and me and Isabell Daniels came up with our own fake sorority name and it has been an inside joke since then.
