Players to Watch

Tennis

Maddie Shelley – Bartlesville

Maddie finished third at state in 1 Singles as a Freshman. Was 8-1 last year, her one loss was in 3 sets to Jenks. She is a junior this year and should be one of the top players in the state.

Tony Morina – Bartlesville

Tony is a dedicated tennis player and has shown huge improvement and started the year off very well last year before the season was cut short. He is also well rounded and performs at a high academic level as well. He will be attending Cornell next fall.

Track

Gabby Higbee – Dewey 

Gabby is a great all-around athlete, awesome student, and super person. She will be playing softball at the D-1 level with the University of Texas-Corpus Christie. 

Golf

Maddox Bullen – Nowata 

Maddox is a junior this year and finished just out of the top ten his freshmen year. Last season had a great outlook before COVID. Should have a solid season this year.

Underclassmen to Watch

Tennis

Parker Cox – Bartlesville

Parker is a great kid and is a solid player on the court. This season has a lot of potential. 

Skylar Stevens – Nowata 

A good athlete, Skylar has put in the work in the offseason to be prepared for this season. 

Golf

Spencer Bullen – Nowata

Spencer has some good golf skills and looks to be a great asset to the team.

Unsung Heroes

Tennis

Annabelle Kelley – Bartlesville

She is a good athlete that has worked hard to get where she is. Great things are expected this season.

Jesse James – Bartlesville

This underclassman can handle his own on the tennis court and is a great teammate on and off the court.
