Bartlesville Boys Tennis Mom Of The Month- Carey Auschwitz- Presented By Keller Williams Realty

When it comes to being a parent, there is more than just food, clothes, and shelter. Parents play a big role in the person that their child becomes and Carey Auschwitz says that is a big reason why she is so involved in her kid’s lives and activities.

“I feel volunteering and being involved with my children, their school, sports, and friends has a positive impact that is far-reaching,” she stated. “My kids and all their teammates, friends, teachers, and even their peer acquaintances know I am a caring parent they are familiar with and see at school events and sports and even out in public. I strive to be a familiar face and someone they know will be there and cheer them on, no matter the situation, no matter win or lose, no matter good day or bad.

Our students and teachers are giving us their best and striving for their goals and I strive to give them my best so they know they have someone in their corner who will support and take care of them.”

Carey is the mother of three. Her oldest, Max, is a sophomore in college at the University of Fairbanks, Alaska. He played Golf at Bartlesville when he was in high school. Jack is a senior at Bartlesville and has been a varsity tennis player for the last four years. Her youngest, Claire is a freshman at Bartlesville and plays volleyball and tennis.

One way that she stays involved is by volunteering with the school and athletics. She says that she enjoys giving back to the school. “Whether volunteering to organize a big school-wide event or just bringing a sack full of homemade treats to a tournament, I know I am contributing to creating a positive experience and wonderful memories for my kids, their friends, peers, coaches, and teachers,” Auschwitz said.

No matter what is going on, Carey says that her family enjoys doing a variety of activities together. “Our family is very active together,” she said. “We love spending time together on a daily basis whether it’s just on a school night having dinner in-between homework and practices or more intentionally when we go camping, fishing, or skiing together. We enjoy each other and love to laugh.”
