Bartlesville High School
Isabell Daniels is a junior at Bartlesville High School and a member of the varsity softball team. Daniels has played softball since she was four years old and said she enjoys being around her teammates the most.
“I love the laughs we share at practice and the bonds we share outside of practice,” said Daniels.
The junior said the team has a lot of potential this slow pitch season and she is looking forward to getting on the field.
“There is a lot of potential, and it looks very good but there are girls who never played before and some small things to work on before the season starts,” said Daniels.
As for the classroom, Daniels said her favorite subject in English.
“My favorite subject in school is probably English. I like to be creative with essays and my favorite teacher right now is Mrs. East at Tri County Tech.”
From loving the purple Gatorades during a trip to Missouri to possibly playing in college, Daniels said the softball experience at BHS has been wonderful. Her future in the sport may include attending college outside of Oklahoma.
“I would like to play softball in college, I am leaning towards in Florida right now, and become an Aquatic Veterinarian,” said Daniels.
Daniels said she loves to spend her free time playing softball and hanging out with friends.
