Bartlesville’s Will Bolding – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Keller Williams

Will Bolding has played tennis for four years thanks to his friends who played and Will wanting to try something new. Now he is one half of the No. doubles team at BHS. Will said he enjoys the competition tennis provides and the challenge of figuring out an opponent.

“I enjoy the competition; every match brings a different challenge,” said Will.

As part of a doubles team, you must communicate and work together to be successful. It’s something Will and his teammate have worked on this season and the hard work is paying off. Will said of his teammate, “I would be on the watch for Johnny Colmenero, he is my doubles partner and I think he’ll be one of the best players in the next few years. Johnny is by far the fastest improving player on the team.” Will continued, “My most improved thing this season is probably my teamwork, I’ve been working on being a better doubles partner.”

Also a member and captain of the cross country team, Will said his future goals include going to college.

“After I graduate, I will be attending Oklahoma State University and pursuing majors in accounting and finance.”

As his junior year comes to a close, Will is looking forward to becoming a senior, making more memories with his friends, and competing as a Bruin.

“My favorite memory is going to state for the first time, seeing those thousands of people watching was a whole new experience. I enjoy the friendships I have with my teammates; they are always there to give me advice and let me know when I make mistakes,” Will said.

In his free time and you can find Will playing tennis and hanging out with his friends.
