Chesney Inglett

CHOUTEAU LADY WILDCATS

Coach: Daniel Croft

22-23 Record: 11-17

Coach Croft and the Lady Wildcats return a good nucleus of players including several seniors looking to make their final season one to remember.

“We have four returning starters, three are seniors. We have a deep bench. We went to the Area Tournament last year. We lost to Warner by one point who made the state tournament. We are working to do even better this year,” said Croft.

Chesney Inglett (5-3, Sr.) leads all scorers averaging 12 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game. Coach Croft said Inglett is a “great point guard with great handles.” Inglett can score outside and sees the floor extremely well. Her defense is an area she excels and has the ability to lock down opposing guards. Brianna Tweed (5-6, Sr.) is a combo player who averaged 8.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals a game. Tweed can play in the paint or at guard. A very physical player, Tweed has the talent to play any position on the floor. Brooklin Messer (5-3, Sr.) averaged 7.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 steals a game as a junior. Messer is another guard who can score and make a difference on the defensive end. Emily Miller (5-7, Sr.) rounds out the seniors on the roster. Last year she averaged 5.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steals a game. Audra Coblentz (5-8, Jr.) averaged 6.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 blocks last year as a sophomore. After spending last season at another school, Coblentz returns and is expected to make an impact this season. Rona Kendrix (5-5, Jr.) is another guard who figures into the overall scheme this season.

Kaynee Alberty

Two sophomores making noise are Kaynee Alberty (5-9) and Presley Inglett (5-7). Alberty averaged 4.0 points and 4.0 rebounds as a freshman, while Inglett averaged 5.0 points with 4.0 rebounds. A group of freshmen will look to help this team off the bench. They include Bristol Inglett (5-7), Kara Plank (6-0), Dallie Young (5-5), and Kaitlyn Williams (5-5). Assisting coach Croft are Austin Goodman and Kaylee Baxter.
