Kansas’ Max Noe – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Rhett Minson State Farm

By: Hunter Ferguson

Kansas baseball player Max Noe told VYPE in a recent interview that as of right now he is focusing on “Putting in the hard work necessary to lead my team and work towards a scholarship.” It comes as no surprise that Noe hopes to continue his baseball career. We were told that his favorite part of playing on the Kansas team is “The bond and memories I’ve made throughout the years with my teammates.”

Among those teammates are those Noe said have impacted him the most. Sharing “The teammates that have left the biggest impression on me are both Ty Rollman and Zach Majors, they always come in and do their jobs the right way and push me to do the best I possibly can.” Of course, one of his coaches has also made an impression specifically with his advice. “The best advice I’ve ever gotten is probably from my baseball Coach Graham, “You got two choices in life, the right one or the wrong one.” It can sound so simple but most of the time I find myself just stepping back from a situation and I just have to think which one is gonna be beneficial for me or my family” said Noe.

According to Noe, baseball has taught him a lot, particularly “Discipline, doesn’t matter what the situation might be at the moment. I still wake up everyday and give my best effort in school and in life.” He also explained that he has learned a lot for his mother as well. Expressing “My mom inspires me everyday to do my best and be the best version of me I can.”

He also made note of a few others by saying “I wanna thank my baseball coach Lankston and coach Graham. And as well as all my other coaches I’ve had throughout high school. Also would like to thank my two brothers for spending countless hours with me in the batting cages and molding me into the player I am today.”
