Pryor Girls Basketball Preview – Presented by RibCrib

Coach: Donnie Martin
20-21 Record: 13-12

As the temperature drops outside, the gym is warming up in Pryor and head coach Donnie Martin is eager to see what this team can accomplish this season. “We have a lot of experience returning on this team,” said coach Martin. “Good team speed and a new/old coaching staff that brings a new philosophy and high expectations.” Kayley Alt (5-8, Jr.) returns after averaging 10 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game as a sophomore. Alt is a great shooting guard who can not only shoot but attack and lead the team.

Maddison Burroughs (5-8, Sr.) has faced a lot of adversity, but brings energy, speed and toughness to the floor for the Lady Tigers. Hannah Rhymer (5-8, Jr.) is another guard expected to step up this season in a big way. Rhymer averaged 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds as a sophomore. Also look for Anna Crisp (5-7, So.) who brings her shooting ability, high basketball IQ and skills as a great passer to the court. Paige Elam (6-0, Jr.) and Karli Kuehne (5-8, Jr.) are looking to make an impact this season. Elam could be the X-factor at center. Emilee Rhymer is a great teammate and someone coach Martin says always has a great attitude and will contribute to the overall success of the team this season.
