A dedicated mom of two, Marty Marsh has been deemed Pryor Mom of the Month.
Marty graduated from Pryor in 1991 and has been loyal to the school and the town ever since. Although she grew up in Pryor, what ultimately kept her there was her devotion to her hometown.
She also shared how Pryor was also the perfect place to settle down in and start a business. She now has two girls that attend her alma mater.
Her girls, Kate and Ella, attend Pryor High School. They are both heavily involved in the school academically and athletically. Both girls are in FCA, FCOG, and are stars of the varsity soccer team.
Marty owns a local restaurant in Pryor with her husband Mark called Mid-America Grille, which is just a short way away from the high school. Marty uses some of the funds from her restaurant to give back to the Pryor school district by making generous donations.
In their free time, Marty and her husband are also involved with the soccer team that their children are a part of. They regularly help in any way they can with Pryor High Soccer. Marty explains that Pryor stands out to her among other schools. “We have top notch facilities at Pryor Schools,” she states. Marty and her family are committed fans of Pryor schools and the athletic programs within.
Marty shares that what is most special about living in Pryor is the community. “I have lived here all my life,” she shares, “everyone is always willing to help.” “I love our small town.”
