Pryor High School senior Saidee Torres is a member of the varsity volleyball team and a recent poll winner on VYPEOK.com.
Torres is a popular player in the area and one of the hardest working Libero’s in the class. A position that requires you to make those diving saves, Torres does whatever it takes to help her team win.
“Pryor is a great community to live in, the fans are always cheering us on, and the student section is good. I just wish we had more room for more students to attend games,” said Torres.
When Torres moved into the district, she was accepted with open arms and felt like a member of the team from the beginning.
“I enjoy how welcoming they were to me when I moved here,” said Torres.
As a student-athlete, Torres said her favorite subject in school is English and she wants to continue working hard at volleyball to possibly play in college.
“I want to push to get a scholarship for volleyball, and get my associates degree in dental hygiene, then eventually work to become a dentist,” said Torres.
With her main focus being grades and volleyball, Torres is on the right path to reach her goals after high school.
When she’s not on the court or working on homework, you can find Torres spending time with family and friends.
