Grand Lake Area Hometown Heroes – Presented by Welch State Bank

Lanie Scott (Ketchum) – At school and in the community, Scott is a great all-around person that helps out in any way she can.

Koen Myrick (Quapaw) – A four-year starter on the Quapaw football team, Koen is also a member of the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Clayton Schmidt (Welch) – Clayton is a kid that coaches just enjoy having around. He has gone through a lot of adversity in his life but continues to show up and be a good person with a good attitude.

Gavin Kihenia (Wyandotte) – Gavin is a very high-character young man. He is extremely respectful and coachable. He has shown the ability to relate to all of his teammates and to be a tremendous leader both on and off the field. Gavin is a hard worker on the field, in the weight room, and in the classroom. He is somebody that everyone enjoys being around and has a bright future.
