Coach: Bruce Chavka

21-22 Record: 3-18

Last season was a tough one for Miami, ending with just three wins.

The Wardogs enter this season ready to start with a clean slate and see improvement from last season. 

Head coach Bruce Chavka is in his first season at the helm of the program and says he is ready to get the season underway. 

“I think we have a good group of guys and I am excited to see what we can do,” he said.

Chavka will look to a good group of seniors to help guide the team. Josh Kregger (5-10, Sr.), Karson Jinks (6-1, Sr.), Tanner Jaijny (6-3, Sr.), and Carter McKibben (5-8, Sr.) will all be looked to for leadership both on and off the court. 

Juniors Isaiah Catt (6-1, Jr.) and Garrett Walls (5-10, Jr.) will be key role players this season. They will step in and contribute to the overall success of the team in any way they can. 

Colton Oelke (6-3, So.) and Seth Davis (6-2, So.) are sophomores that will be ready to hear their name called. They have worked hard to prepare and are ready to show what they can do. 

The assistant coaches are Kanyen Cole and Pete Overman.
