VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Josiah: I am passionate about my sport because I really enjoy it and it’s a sport that not only helps with my physical body but teaches me about life in different ways.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Josiah: Football has taught me how to be a better man and how to treat people. It has also taught me how to be a selfless person and how to put the team first and not your own goals.

VYPE: What has been your favorite memory of playing?

Josiah: My favorite memory of playing would be winning the super bowl in little league football in the fourth grade. It was a really great experience and I formed a lot of relationships between the players on the team.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?

Josiah: The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me is Hayden Miller. He is always pushing me and is just someone that is really easy to look up to on the field.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?

Josiah: The athlete that I look up to is Tim Tebow, the reason I look up to him is because we have a lot of the same values and he doesn’t have shame in showing people he’s a christian.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

Josiah: The best advice anyone has ever given me is “it’s not about how you start the play but about how you finish the play”, it just really stuck with me and has helped throughout my years of playing high school football.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Josiah: My dad inspires me the most because he always puts himself last and is always serving other people.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Josiah: For a summer vacation I would probably go to Rio de Janeiro because I really  liked the movie Rio. I would probably just take my friends with me because they are always with me anyways.

VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.

Josiah: I would like to thank Jesus for everything he’s done in my life, and a thank you to my family for always giving me the best support possible.
