Verdigris defensive frontman Reese Roller has been named to the All-State East team by the Oklahoma Coaches Association.

The OCA All-State game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, July 28. The game’s location has not been announced. Roller, alongside Verdigris teammate and All-State lineman Yale Gray, will take on the West team.

Roller signed to play at the University of Central Oklahoma last week. He accounted for 19 sacks, 85 tackles and 37 tackles-for-loss last season and forced four fumbles.
