VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Jase: If I could go on summer vacation anywhere I would go to the Rocky Mountains, I have always enjoyed being in the mountains with the calm atmosphere. Who I would take with me would be my brothers Ryan and Caleb who have been my greatest and closest companions throughout my life.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Jase: My all time favorite meal would have to be Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo with grilled shrimp on top.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

Jase: The best advice I have received was from my old Cross-Country Coach who would say that you could do anything for seven more seconds, always convincing me to push just a little harder during practice.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Jase: My sport has taught me to stay determined and not back down to a problem. To push through and fulfill your goals.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Jase: Being on a team gives me both the support and encouragement to reach my goals as well as competition to strive past my own expectations and be a better runner.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Jase: Cross-Country is all a mental sport. If you are determined enough you can be successful and nothing is better than having hard work pay off.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to and why?

Jase: I don’t look up to any professional athlete, but instead I look up to my older brother who in my eyes was a professional athlete, dedicated to his sport and the best influence I ever needed to be a runner.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Jase: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Jeanne Smith who has been my teacher for my entire high school experience. Mrs. Smith is a very good teacher who was very kind to her students and extremely helpful.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Jase: My older brother, Ryan, inspires me to do my best. He ran Cross-Country as well and has always been a positive supporter and pushed me to be the best person I can be.
