Grand Lake Area Editor’s Choice “Super 7” – Presented by Northeast Tech

#1 Kyron Downing – WR – Senior – Vinita

Last season Downing amassed over 1,000 all-purpose yards and scored nearly 20 touchdowns on the season. Look for Downing to contribute in many ways this season.

#2 Carson Trimble – QB – Junior – Grove

As a sophomore Trimble threw for more than 1,300 yards and 14 scores. With another year under his belt, look for Trimble to become one of the top quarterbacks in the area.

#3 Emmanuel Crawford – RB – Junior – Grove

Crawford rushed for 1,124 yards and scored 10 touchdowns last season. This year expect to see more of the same as he looks to help Grove to a big year.

#4 Jonah Redden – WR/DB – Senior – Miami

A two-way player for the Wardogs, Redden brings leadership to the field and a commitment to playing hard on every down. This promises to be his best season.

#5 Kaden Morgan – OL – Senior – Jay

A physical offensive lineman, Kaden Morgan brings a lot to the table for the Bulldogs. His presence up front will help the younger lineman as they develop. At 6-foot-2, 240-pounds, Morgan has the size and strength to dominate.

#6 Ben Johnston – OL/DL – Senior – Grove

Leading the offensive line for the Ridgerunners, Ben Johnston to bring his technically sound play and physicality to the trenches. Johnston will play on the defensive line as well.

#7 Koen Myrick – WR/OLB – Senior – Quapaw

Possibly the most underrated player on the list, Myrick is an animal on defense and a playmaker on offense. A four-year starter for the Wildcats, Myrick is ready for his final season.
