VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?
Deacon: My passion is for baseball. No matter how good you are there are going to be a lot of failures.
VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to and why?
Deacon: Walker Buehler, because he gives so much back to his community.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Deacon: The more you keep working the more rewarded you will be.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Deacon: My dad is an extremely hard worker, and played college baseball and I want to do what he did.
VYPE: What has been your favorite memory of playing?
Deacon: Hard to pick just one, but hitting a home run in the District Championship against Ripley. Another one would be watching Seth get a pick-six against rival Commerce this past football season.

Deacon: Coach Beene, because he is funny, and we always talk to each other before every basketball game. Also, Coach Manning has been my coach and teacher throughout middle school and high school.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Deacon: I like representing Quapaw because they have always been so supportive of our teams.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Deacon: I would go to New York with my dad and play golf at some of the best courses in the world.
VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.
Deacon: Shoutout to my Gigi and Grammy, for all they do for my brother and me.
