VYPE: What has been your favorite memory of playing?
Ella: My favorite memory is from my freshman year when we played at state and I got put in to run bases.
VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?
Ella: I started playing softball when I was eigth years old in the Miami league.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Ella: The opportunity to carry on the winning tradition of the girls that played before me.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Ella: Things are not just handed to you, you have to work hard to get what you want.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Ella: My favorite part of being on a team is getting to play with my friends and making memories with them.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?
Ella: Erica Schertz has left the biggest impression on me. She was a really good leader and someone everybody looked up to. Even when we were down in the game she would always try to keep us hyped up and to not hang our heads.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Ella: I would go to Hawaii and take my family with me.
VYPE: Are you involved in any other activities?
Ella: I’m involved in Student Council, the National Honor Society, and Interact.

Ella: I’d like to say thank you to all my coaches that have worked hard with me in practice and outside of practice to get me where I am today. Thank you to my parents who have spent a lot of money and time to watch me do what I love.
